With PROFFANATION we have the ironic antidote to DREAMING AUSTRALIA.

In the DREAMING AUSTRALIA we carry the message, ‘From Australian Dream to Dreaming Australia’.

In PROFFANATION we say, ‘Australian Nation - Profanation!’

Profanation is the act of going secular, of stripping an object of its meaning. Strictly speaking it is the outcome of blasphemy.

I call it ‘Proffa-Nation’ because what is being offered is not really wanted. It’s just been proffered.

For example: the well paid offerings of many prof-essionals of learning and prof-essors of the higher arts.

So Proffa-Nation is the blasphemy of those offering something other than a Nation in exchange.
